Today the rest of our sea shipment came, so we finally have some art work to hang on the walls. Outside of the fact that we could not hang Coretta's swing from her ceiling, everything else turned out fine.
This weekend, I spent a good amount of time buying plants and pots for the house, and re-potting plants. In all, we have 14 plants that have found a new home. We can't wait to start having fires at night out on the fire pit. Conveniently, the store next to us sells firewood.
It is really starting to feel more like a home now. It still echoes a bit, but with a place this big it is to be expected. Now I just need to look out for some more art for the hallway and one last trip to IKEA for towels and some rugs and our place will be ready for visitors.
