Today I had the great privilege to be asked to come to the third grade power point presentations on natural disasters. The students were asked to pick a natural disaster they wanted to learn more about, research that topic, summarize the information in their own words, and create a PowerPoint presentation. Not only did they learn research skills and writing, they also learned public speaking skills as well. Coretta chose to do hers on tsunamis and did an excellent job.
