Mom and Bridge: Destination Zurich, Switzerland

While Bridgette and my Mom were visiting me in Switzerland, I took them by bus and train to Zurich for some sight seeing, shopping, and authentic German cuisine. Once there, we walked out of the train station, and decided to walk towards the old town. Here they saw the farmer's market selling goods such as vegetables, fruit, sausages and cheese.

We stopped at Starbucks for coffee, and then continued stopping in and out of shops, stopping for pictures, and admiring the different architecture.

For lunch, we ate at the Zeughauskeller, which was an authentic German restarant that resembles the facade of an old castle. Here Bridgette had an authentic German sausage and potato salad and Mom and I had the traditional Zurich style veal and rosti with the cream wine sauce. It wouldn't be complete without a glass of chianti and a good German beer.

After this, we continued to do more shopping and then took the train and bus back to Hunenberg, Switzerland. Great day with my sister and Mom.
